Heyy! I’m Alexa aka Lex! Following a consistent fitness and healthy lifestyle has always been one of my biggest challenges. It was not until I got older when I realized how beneficial taking care of my health and body was, especially since I reached the heaviest weight I had ever been. Now almost three years later, I am down 30+ pounds all by staying dedicated and committed to wanting to make a permanent change. I can proudly say, fitness is now a huge part of my daily lifestyle!
Lets face it, everyone is different and doesn't know where to begin when it comes to making a fit and healthy lifestyle change, so I am here to be your "person" and hold you accountable. Deep down inside we all have that "extraness" to give, but sometimes it requires a little nudge in order to push ourselves just a bit harder. Put your trust in #ExercyzeWithLexandLyz and lets all become healthier versions of ourselves together!!

Hey Strong Team - Alyza here! I’m the Lyz (pronounced - lies) of the #ExercyzeWithLexAndLyz team. Would you believe me if I told you I was the girl who was terrified of the gym? Fast forward three years later, here I am following a passion and a purposeful journey into the fitness world. Working out for me has always been a form of therapy. As a single mom, it was a chance for some me time while working on bettering myself. What I once did for me has now become something my daughter enjoys and aspires to do as well. There is truly no greater feeling than that.
I believe in the power of the mind. We are only as strong as our mind allows us to be. How we speak to ourselves, what our thoughts are - there is nothing we cannot achieve with a healthy mindset. I aim to encourage anyone and everyone to work towards goals that will push you to show up as your best self - mentally, emotionally and physically. My preferred style of training consists of compound and body weight movements with a strong emphasis on mind to muscle connection. Mind over matter, always! To be the best version for anyone, we must first be the best version of ourselves.
